Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle… when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

Don’t go to Heaven by yourself

Lk 5,32

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Lk 5,32

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Lk 5,32

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Lk 6,

22 Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you
and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man.
23 “Rejoice in that day and leap for joy,
because great is your reward in heaven.

For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets.

What a swiss pastor did:

20 Franken in zwei Stunden

If you/I never try
no one ever knows!
When i was a child, i believed i could win Wimbledon, be soccer world champion, be the greatest artist in present time, having a lively family - because i am so lively and inspiring. I believed, i can write a heartbreaking novel, i can inspire the world to start seeking God again. I believed every thing is possible.
What about now?
What changed?
Did i become different?
Even Wimbledon and Soccer World Champion i still could become - just as coach: Would be fine with me.

Does dreams and faith gave so much energy to me.

MICHELANGELO:
"I AM STILL LEARNING!"

IF YOU CAN NOT DO GREAT THINGS
DO SMALL THINGS IN A GREAT WAY
John was famous - quickly
John was a answer to the people - they waited for something like him
John preached to people who knew God
John's live as exceptional and very clear, that he was at least not interested at all about the world
<>
If i can plan, that i am out at university every day - will see what God will do with that!
What are the people waiting for today?
Honesty | Authenticity | Passion | Meaning | true friends | Joy |> Love
Preaching is the smallest thing i can do, to give the people what they are waiting for. The most powerful preaching i can preach is becoming a friend
<>
John came from the desert - What do i have in my life, that shows, how depended i am on this world?
<>
John preached Bible-knowledge: Today no one has Bible-knowledge:
I need to make God known again - HOW?
People need to find trust in the Bible again - HOW?
Then i can start preach the same message as John
<>
It is a message about our heart and character to make us able to love (LK3,4-6)
As soon people trust the Bible and believe in God, it will be a learning together to become free. Free of sin. Free to follow the greatest life ever lived on earth - Jesus. to follow him!
<>
To make God known and real again > Most difficult!
To build trust in the Bible > most difficult
Lk 3,4
a) As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet:
b) “A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
c) ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.
d) 5 Every valley shall be filled in,
e) every mountain and hill made low.
f) The crooked roads shall become straight,
g) the rough ways smooth.
h) 6 And all people will see God’s salvation.’ ”

a) What is the prophecy for today - this time i am living?
Is a prophecy a good reverence for people who do not care about Bible, God and prophecy's? I guess not!
>> What is obvious for this time?
>> What do people care about?
>> How do they feel?
>> What are they waiting for?

b) I am a visible answer to the question - people in those times waited for the messiah!> What are they waiting for? Is my life the visible answer, because my discipleship of Jesus is so obvious?
"A voice": Can people hear me?

c) Do people know - wait for the Lord? People today do not even desire a Lord. They want to be their own Lord.
The message is maybe anyway more about, that the Lord IS coming!
Then we would need to make clear: Hey - there is a Lord over heaven and earth!
This Lord will come!
We are all accountable to him!
Are you able to meet him?

Without faith in God - no one cares about a Lord.

What does it mean to make straight path?
Is my thinking straight or do i make compromises every where, just how ever i feel? If i say, i am loving people? When do i stop love people because i don't feel like i can or want to or care about?
Am i really the person i say i am?
Are my words and actions straight?

So - today: i would preach: Stop being so hypocritical and selfish and start to be consistent - is that what i would need to tell them?

d) Valley should be filled. > What is it? I can understand, that personally i feel at times in a low point. I hide. I am going down. I can say, that i definitely feel in valley's at times
In order not to stay there, not let it happen, what does it mean:
Self control?
Selflessness?

e) Mountain & Hill made low. Having no false humility and no pride anymore! People: JUST BE WHO YOU ARE - BE REAL & HUNEST!!!
What are you truly desiring? I guess LOVE : GOD IS LOVE!

f) crooked roads shall become straight
What in my life is crooked? Am i hiding things? Am i doing illegal staff?

g) rough ways smooth
unfriendliness, rage, fury, wrath, ... how am i in relationships?

h) Hope - if you know, God is real: How do you feel about seeing him soon?

LK 3,3
He went into all the country around the Jordan,
preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Today:
Questions, i think would need to be cleared and answered
before i can go out and preach the same message:

What is sin? - What's the problem?

What about forgiveness:
Who is the one, we need forgiveness from? - why?

Repentance  - what does it mean? - How?

Baptism - how should that work? - Why is that necessary?

Lk3,2b
(...)
the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness.

What was he doing - out there?

THANK YOU GOD

today, in the morning, i was reading about Jesus in Mark 14.
he hangs on the cross
people say:"Come down and we will believe!"

They all saw miracles
Many of them could not even walk if Jesus would not have healed them
And now they say - Just this miracle and then we believe.

It is like today
God is not real - they tell me when i ask who ever
If he would be real - he would do what ever or show up ... - they tell me - and then i could believe

People always know a reason for not starting to believe NOW!

Tomorrow i have a Bible-Discussion again!
GOD HELP ME!

So people will be able to make there own decision to start believing and searching for GOD.

MK14

Jesus:

“Take it; this is my body.”

“This is my blood
of the covenant, which is poured out for many,

MK14,3b

She broke the jar
and poured the perfume on his head.
Jesus:(MK13,31)
Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my words will never pass away.

MK13,24 “But in those days, following that distress, “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ 26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
