Acts19,32 The assembly was in confusion: Some were shouting one thing, some another. Most of the people did not even know why they were there. > wow - i don't know: they just came together for what ever reason - engry -WHAT WOULD THE WORLD BE LIKE, IF WE JUST WOULD NOT BE SO ENGRY?
33 The Jews pushed Alexander to the front, and some of the crowd shouted instructions to him. He motioned for silence in order to make a defence before the people. > crazy moments - shouting screaming, ...
34 But when they realised he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison for about two hours: Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!  > TWO HOURS SHOUTING ... i can not imagine -
35 The city clerk quietened the crowd and said: Men of Ephesus, doesn't all the world know that the city of Ephesus is the guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of her image, which fell from heaven?   > This is the alternative of believe. Something is falling from heaven. <> The alternative of believe: Jesus risen from the death for us!
36 Therefore, since these facts are undeniable, you ought to be quiet and not do anything rash.  > this facts ...
37 You have brought these men here, though they have neither robbed temples nor blasphemed our goddess.  > Wow  - what is coming now?
38 If, then, Demetrius and his fellow craftsmen have a grievance against anybody, the courts are open and there are proconsuls. They can press charges.   > OK - Guys get back in order!!!
39 If there is anything further you want to bring up, it must be settled in a legal assembly. > Understand!
40 As it is, we are in danger of being charged with rioting because of today's events. In that case we would not be able to account for this commotion, since there is no reason for it.  > THIS IS WHAT PILAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO!
41 After he had said this, he dismissed the assembly.  > It is over now! Go home.
The world is angry  - not joyful - empty - fearful -
Am i different? Am i in peace? am i joyful? do i feel fulfilled? Am i courageous?

Acts19,1 While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples > From where are they coming?
2 and asked them, Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? They answered, No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. > OK - i see
3 So Paul asked, Then what baptism did you receive? John's baptism, they replied. > ...
4 Paul said, John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus. > Amen
5 On hearing this, they were baptised into the name of the Lord Jesus. > Finaly
6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. > interesting - (?)
7 There were about twelve men in all. > not like 3000 in one day - how about placing hand on 3000.
8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. > Paul speaks boldly, for 3month: ARGUING PERSUASIVELY : toppic, the kingdom of God.
9 But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe> It is a decision and publicly maligned the Way.> They became aggressive. So Paul left them. > > > He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. > Disciples daily / with his disciples / in a lecture hall: For all who are interested.
10 This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. > 2Years - all in the province of Asia head the word of Lord!
11 God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, > Also miracles
12 so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. > IT WAS AMAZING!!!
13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon- possessed. They would say, In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out. > Wow - they tried...
14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.
15 One day the evil spirit answered them, Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you? > one day - all the other days, it worked?!...
16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding. > Oh crazy
17 When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honour. > yes
18 Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. > CONFESSION
19 A number who had practised sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. > intense When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. > Wow
20 In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. > THE WORD GREW IN POWER ?...!
21 After all this had happened, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. After I have been there, he said, I must visit Rome also. > Luke is their as well
22 He sent two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, while he stayed in the province of Asia a little longer. > Some went ahead.
amazing things happened!
> Paul leaves Corinth because Apollos is preaching their now. He is going to Ephesus. He finds disciple. He baptizes them again. They receive the Holly Spirit by Paul laying hands on them. Paul is in the synagog. Some Jews turn away from believing. They become aggressive against Paul. Paul is leaving the Synagog. He makes discussion in lector hall. This, he is doing for 2years. Also miracles happen. Amazing miracles. People start to be in awe of the powerful name 'Jesus'. People come and confess openly. Other people burn their scrolls or sorcery.
THE WORD OF THE LORD GREW IN POWER.
Then Paul decid to go to Jerusalem through Macedonia and Achaia - also his Goal is Rom. Timothy and Erastus go ahead to Macedonia while Paul stays a little longer in Ephesus.
>>THE WORD OF THE LORD GREW IN POWER<<
<<how>>
What can i learn from that?

Acts18,7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshipper of God.  > Paul left the Synagog he did not want to be abused = How did he feel abused? But when he felt this way, he left. .../
8 Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptised.  > But many believed. Even the synagog ruler ... they believed and were baptised.
9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. > Wow, why did he has this vision - GOD ENCOURAGED HIM! Maybe he did not get the encouragement. God gave it to him:
1. DO NOT BE AFRAID
2. KEEP ON SPEAKING
3. DO NOT BE SILENT10 For I am with you, and no-one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.
4. I AM WITH YOU
5. NO-ONE IS GOING TO ATTACK AND HARM YOU
6. BECAUSE I HAVE MANY PEOPLE IN THIS CITY11 So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.  > He stayed. He teached the word of GOD!
12 While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought him into court.  > The Jews again attacked Paul. Always Paul! Paul, Paul, Paul ...
13 This man, they charged, is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law.
14 Just as Paul was about to speak, Gallio said to the Jews, If you Jews were making a complaint about some misdemeanour or serious crime, it would be reasonable for me to listen to you.
15 But since it involves questions about words and names and your own law- settle the matter yourselves. I will not be a judge of such things.   > Questions about words, names, your law-settle - no interest
16 So he had them ejected from the court.  > Go away guys!
17 Then they all turned on Sosthenes the synagogue ruler and beat him in front of the court. But Gallio showed no concern whatever.  > WOW - they beat the synagog ruler - IN FRONT OF THE COURT.
Gallio: NO CONCERN
<>
1. DO NOT BE AFRAID : Am i afraid?
2. KEEP ON SPEAKING : Do i speak at all?
3. DO NOT BE SILENT : Help me to do this GOD!
4. I AM WITH YOU : Do i believe?
5. NO-ONE IS GOING TO ATTACK AND HARM YOU : I am in your hand GOD
6. BECAUSE I HAVE MANY PEOPLE IN THIS CITY : Berlin is open for you GOD

Acts18,
1 After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. > He made a few disciples - then he is moving on! It seems he is alone - at least Luke is not with him.
2 There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them,
> Why does Paul know about them? - But he is going  their to visit.
3 and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them. > He started to be part of their business - THIS IS SO COOL - i could be grafic-designer at TU in Basti's company and be on the campus hole day long!!Evangelizing - bringing students to christ - dedicate myself to the work of an evangelist - now is more of organizing and being all over the place... what ever - i guess i need to focus more / having clearer goals and so on -.-.-.-.-.-
4 Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks. > He worked during the week - sabbath he is going into the synagog TO REASON - TO PERSUADE Jews&Greeks
I am not a persuader - i am a listener. I become persuasif when i am invited to but if someone show resistant i am just listening.... How to learn to persuade?5 When Silas and Timothy came from Macedonia, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ. > then more people come to Corinth: Silas&Thimothy:::Paul becomes a preacher only - i guess he has the support and so he can reach more people because Silas and Timothy can help out in this way.
PAUL DEVOTED HIMSELF EXCLUSIVELY TO PREACHING6 But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive, > They became abusive: I wonder what does it mean.
he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility. From now on I will go to the Gentiles. > PAUL IS SUPER DIRECT!!!
7 Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshipper of God.
8 Crispus, the synagogue ruler, and his entire household believed in the Lord; and many of the Corinthians who heard him believed and were baptised.
9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.
10 For I am with you, and no-one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.
11 So Paul stayed for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.
12 While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews made a united attack on Paul and brought him into court.
16 So he had them ejected from the court.
17 Then they all turned on Sosthenes the synagogue ruler and beat him in front of the court. But Gallio showed no concern whatever.

A talk with *MR. like a walk to a rainy forest - ore going more and more out into the swamp and thinking all the time should i walk back ore should i take a boat - but is their a boat at all. And what is the other guy doing out here anyway. What is he thinking.

I feel so empty or questioned or useless. But is good i guess. It is not about me at all. My wisdom is small - very much :-)

Acts17,18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him. Some of them asked, What is this babbler trying to say? Others remarked, He seems to be advocating foreign gods. They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
19 Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him, May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting? > Paul has the opportunity to share his faith! People are coming and listening. Is it really different now compared to other situations?
People listening are not so patient like the women's Paul and the others met when they were looking for a place to pray.
So the speech of Paul would need to have some very special ingredients. And he would need to speak well - don't know - but he can do it because God mad it happen....
> This would be true for me: Where ever i am, i can share the gospel because i am there. god brought me there because of this very reason!
20 You are bringing some strange ideas to our ears, and we want to know what they mean.
> Strange ideas - BUT THEY WANT TO HEAR.
21 (All the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas.) > It is like in this days
22 Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said:
> Standing preaching - did he had notes?
Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious.
23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you. > He does not say anything about how he feels: distressed about all the Gods
24 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. > 1. Introducing God: THE GOD WHO MADE EVERY THING! ...
25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. > How God is - he does not need anything but gives every thing!
26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. > 2. How we humans came into the picture. We life by Gods will in borders...
27 God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. > 3. IT IS ALL ABOUT SEEKING GOD
28 'For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring.' > connection of the greek culture and the story of GOD.
29 Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone- an image made by man's design and skill.
30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. > 4. Preaching the Repentance! REPANT GREEKS!!!
31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed 5. Judgment will come /. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead. > 6. Jesus - PROVE OF THE FACT HE IS GOD BY RESURRECTION!
32 When they heard about the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, We want to hear you again on this subject. > Resurrection of the dead showed the heart. Believe ore unbelief. Do i want to believe ore not?
33 At that, Paul left the Council. > Paul is going home now. No further discussion. This was the chance of wise Greek to get the point.
34 A few men became followers of Paul and believed.> Some start believing - IF I WOULD HAVE THE CHANECE TO PREACH THE GOSPEL - WOULD A FEW START TO BELIEVE? Among them was Dionysius, a member of the Areopagus, also a woman named Damaris, and a number of others. > it was a number of people who listen and started to believe PAUL and follow him.
This is what should happen when we preach the Gospel.
It should burn on my heart!
I should be something else becoming - Gods messenger - proclaiming death and resurrection of CHRIST! HOPE! REPENTANCE! Believing leads to repentance leads to baptism to forgiveness of your sin and the holy spirit will start living in you!
<>Do i have the faith, that every were i am, i also can preach the gospel - Because God brought me here<>
<>Do i have the Gospel in my heart - is it on the top of me?<>
<>Are people following me? - As i follow christ - If i am!!!!<>

Acts17,16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. > how would Paul feel in Berlin? So much hate towards God! Why am i not greatly distressed? What was he thinking? - Paul would freek-out in Berlin!!! He was close to GOD!
17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the market-place day by day with those who happened to be there. > He reasoned with Jews&God-fearing Greeks /// He connects with the God-fearing people first - what was he reasoning about? Jesus? Where would that place be for me to go and reason?
18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him. > So unbelievers start to take notice about Paul! They take him serious and start a dispute with him!
Some of them asked, What is this babbler trying to say?  > Paul was disputing / reasoning AND some thought HE IS A BABBLER <> so if Paul some times missed the heart of the people - shows, none is perfect OR they didn't were open...
BUT I HAVE TO GO IN THEIR.
I HAVE TO BE AROUND TO BA ABLE TO START A REASONING AND A DISPUTE:

BUT FIRST: AM I GREATLY DISTRESSED?

Others remarked, He seems to be advocating foreign gods.
 > Very smart - but at least listening
They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
 > HE WAS PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS AND THE RESURRECTION!
What is the good news about Jesus?
What about resurrection?

I want to learn more about Jesus, about the cross and about the resurrection!
Facts, Stories, Theologies ...
GOD HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND.
+
What is the good news?

I am so excited about this time with God and to learn about Paul when he is waiting!

Acts17.10 As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. > Again  - this is the first thing they did. They also just moved on. Preached the gospel. Going to the next town: Preaching the Gospel ...
11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. > When does the bible say: more noble character? :
-Receiving the message with great eagerness
-examine the Scripture every day to see if what Paul said was true.
12 Many of the Jews believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men. > They started to believe!
13 When the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, they went there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up. > The jews followed Paul to destroy his work.
14 The brothers immediately sent Paul to the coast, but Silas and Timothy stayed at Berea. > Just Paul left. Silas and Timothy stayed. How was is for them to face angry Jews? Paul was special : It was clear, that he is a driving force!
15 The men who escorted Paul brought him to Athens and then left with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible. > Paul went to Athens and waited their for Silas and Timothy.
What will Paul do in Athens? He is alone!
<>Am i eager to receive the message?<>
<>examining the scripture - is this something i do?<>
<>Am i a driving force for the gospel?<>
<>is the Gospel alive in me - so it is driving out of me?<>

Can i prove Christ Jesus out of the old testament?
Can i prove it?
Can i entertain people in a debate going on over 3 weeks with climate-point on saturday at the university?
Am i so useful to God, that it becomes obvious an other people get jealous?
<>What happened around Paul was so amazing<>
<>Why was he so useful to God<>
<>What where his weaknesses, he was so proud about, so God could be even more visible?<>
Acts17,1 When they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue.
2 As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, > As his custom / 3 Sabath-dyas, he reasoned with them / Synagog was first always. People who knew the bible. People who knew about the hope of a christ.
Paul could reason 3 sabath days. It is long. It was intersting for them too  - Paul was not boring.3 explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead. > Explaining and Proving
I always think, i can not prove anything. They need to believe. BUT PAUL PROVED. I NEED TO LEARN HOW HE DID THAT!
This Jesus I am proclaiming to you is the Christ, he said. > It was about Jesus! Jesus makes all the difference!
4 Some of the Jews were persuaded and joined Paul and Silas, as did a large number of God-fearing Greeks and not a few prominent women. > Paul could reach some - he found followers!
5 But the Jews were jealous; so they rounded up some bad characters from the market-place, formed a mob and started a riot in the city. They rushed to Jason's house in search of Paul and Silas in order to bring them out to the crowd. > Paul was so successful that other became jealous!
6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some other brothers before the city officials, shouting: These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here, > They made it all big and dangerous. I remember times, where people sad tis about our faith and church. Not anymore. We became so normal and polished  - nothing is radical anymore!
7 and Jason has welcomed them into his house. They are all defying Caesar's decrees, saying that there is another king, one called Jesus. > They twist what really is preached - also this i remember from the old days...
8 When they heard this, the crowd and the city officials were thrown into turmoil. > Angry people always find other angry people!
9 Then they put Jason and the others on bail and let them go. > Taking bail from Jason and the others  - then they could go. Paul was the target!

Paul and Silas singing in prison and the other prisoners hear them singing.... they were singing out laud!
They were severely beaten, flogged, lashed... bloody...
How could they even sit without pain?
They were together - encouraged each other... maybe the idea, that they are romans, made them little bit happy ? ... But to start singing in the hole and not just wait angry for the moment to let the leaders know about their citizenship shows me - it was something else in them, that they started singing:-)
>>
How much pain they had - how much bigger was their joy!
How much seal! To start singing in a dark hole!
How motivated to praise God where ever!
How much faith in God, that they thought about praising him even in the prison!
How real most God have been for them, so that they could sing to him!
How different they thought about life, that they where able to do this, that they were able to see God now
... <<
Acts16,
16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, > Prayer-Places are awesome! Where is my Prayer-Place? we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling.
17 This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.
18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned round and said to the spirit, In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her! At that moment the spirit left her. > It looks like Paul could do this long before - did he want to avoid the trouble?
19 When the owners of the slave girl realised that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the market-place to face the authorities.
20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practise.
22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten.
23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.
24 Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.
27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.
28 But Paul shouted, Don't harm yourself! We are all here!
29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.
30 He then brought them out and asked, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
31 They replied, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved- you and your household.
32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.
33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his family were baptised. > the tempo who things happened is amazing! Before they eat, they are all baptized!
34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God- he and his whole family.  > First baptism then eating!
35 When it was daylight, the magistrates sent their officers to the jailer with the order: Release those men.
36 The jailer told Paul, The magistrates have ordered that you and Silas be released. Now you can leave. Go in peace.
37 But Paul said to the officers: They beat us publicly without a trial, even though we are Roman citizens, and threw us into prison. And now do they want to get rid of us quietly? No! Let them come themselves and escort us out. > Don't know why Paul is doing that
38 The officers reported this to the magistrates, and when they heard that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens, they were alarmed.
39 They came to appease them and escorted them from the prison, requesting them to leave the city.
40 After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia's house, where they met with the brothers and encouraged them. Then they left.

Christ crucified

Acts16,
11 From Troas we put out to sea and sailed straight for Samothrace, and the next day on to Neapolis.
12 From there we travelled to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that district of Macedonia. And we stayed there several days.
>Samothrace>Neapolis>Philippi, the leading City in Macedonia
13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there.
>They speak to the women / the vision was a men calling. but first thing what happens is a conversion of a women.
Yesterday we were sitting in a park. Dasha saw a group of young women. She sad - we should talk to them. When the two lady's went off, she talked to one of them. She is open and interested! ... I was not even thinking to invite this group ...
14 One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshipper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul'smessage.
>Lydia was a worshiper of God!
15 When she and the members of her household were baptised,[>very fast conversions!] she invited us to her home. If you consider me a believer in the Lord, she said,[hwo in the world could she say this!] come and stay at my house. And she persuaded us.[Why would she need to persuade Paul and his friends to stay at here house? - She is now Pauls sister - part of Gods family!]
Maybe we are waiting to long to baptize some one...
If some one is open and interested - lets baptize people!

Acts16,
6 Paul and his companions travelled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia,
having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.
>> What does it mean?
7 When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia,
but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.
>> What does it mean?
8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas.
9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him,
Come over to Macedonia and help us.
>> This is clear - i mean i can understand a dream and the vision of seeing this men but,
why do i not read about what is going on before, that Paul can not preach in the other regions?
10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia,
concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
>> CONCLUDING - this is very interesting. Still they were not sure. They thought, this dream is from the Holly Spirit BUT they were not sure.
Is it some times like this, that we trie and trie but it does not work out. So we do not stop trying and then we find a other way and we go there.

Paul and is companions travel through:
Phrygia
Galatia
Mysia
Troas
Every were they tried to preach but they could not>>>WHY?
We don't know - but : THEY NEVER STOPPED TRING - TILL THEY FOUND A NEW GOAL.

What makes me stop preaching?
What makes me stop evangelizing?
Nothing could stop Paul from being on the mission! IT WAS JUST THE QUESTION WERE.

Acts16,
1 Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek. 2 He was well spoken of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium. >> They knew him / People liked him / Good reputation
3 Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.
>> They all knew that his father was a Greek. So Paul Paul circumcised Timothy. - JUST BECAUSE OF THE JEWS.
4 As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered to them for observance the decisions that had been reached by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.
>> Now they go and teach the decisions - after circumcision.

What am i willing to do in order to meet needs of others.
How far would i go to not be a stumbling block?

At the time i do not feel a stumbling block.  I feel more heavy in my heart. I feel i am not good enough. It is always this feeling, i can not give. I have nothing to give. I am not cool enough.
But God is living in me too.
I have to cut out this thoughts about me and be ready to learn to give. to learn to become every thing to all men.
