1.Cor10,1 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. 2 They were all baptised into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3 They all ate the same spiritual food 4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered over the desert. 6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry. 8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did- and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 9 We should not test the Lord, as some of them did- and were killed by snakes. 10 And do not grumble, as some of them did- and were killed by the destroying angel. 11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfilment of the ages has come. 12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! > Always be ready to what ever. Continue training hard! When i did sport, i trained all the time - always thinking on improving ::: Training = Always focusing on the cross. How can i be in the training mode today? Go to mission!!!!! 13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.> Go to mission - it will NOT BE TO HARD!!!!

1.Kor9,1 Am I not free? > I should be free - i am called in to freedom!
Am I not an apostle?
Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? > what did i see? Yesterday?A baptism!!!! This was miraculous
Are you not the result of my work in the Lord?
2 Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! > Now where you belong! I NEED TO KNOW - this is where i belong. This is my place. Take it on. Own it! FOR GOD's GLORY
For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. > The prove of my work! What is visible in my work?
3 This is my defence to those who sit in judgment on me. > i always can say - look what i have done. See! This happend! This is what God did! WHAT IS IT THAT GOD DID?
4 Don't we have the right to food and drink?
5 Don't we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord's brothers and Cephas?
6 Or is it only I and Barnabas who must work for a living? > Paul is so offensive. How was he talking? What could intimidate him?
7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its grapes? Who tends a flock and does not drink of the milk?
8 Do I say this merely from a human point of view? Doesn't the Law say the same thing? 9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain. Is it about oxen that God is concerned?
10 Surely he says this for us, doesn't he? > Paul security about God and what he ment giving laws.
Yes, this was written for us, because when the ploughman ploughs and the thresher threshes, they ought to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.
11 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? > Again - Paul is going for it! Paul is saying what he thinks. I often can not do this, because i am to emotional! My emotions are stronger then my concern and love and faith that God is in control! My fear grows in such a hugh way that the feelings are out of any control!
12 If others have this right of support from you, shouldn't we have it all the more? > Paul is not unclear! What Paul wants to say he is just saying. No concern on what could be the outcome. He is almost rude.
But we did not use this right. > Paul:"Look at us! - Is this not good enough for you?COME ON!!!!!!"
On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ. > Paul again makes it more clear! He is emotional - frustration? - is he?
13 Don't you know that those who work in the temple get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? 14 In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. 15 But I have not used any of these rights.
And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me. > Why is he bringing it up then - if he anyway is not demanding any money. Just to let them know, that he would have the right to do so but that he is not - out of love..... - WHAY?
I would rather die than have anyone deprive me of this boast.denn es wäre mir besser, zu sterben, als - meinen Ruhm soll mir niemand zunichte machen. > Any one explane me this attitude.
16 Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach.
Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!
17 If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me.
18 What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make use of my rights in preaching it.
19 Though I am free and belong to no man,
I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.
To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak.
I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last for ever.
26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly;
I do not fight like a man beating the air.
27 No, I beat my body
and make it my slave
so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

1.Kor9,15 But I have not used any of these rights. PAUL:
1> not used any of these rights ::: What are rights i am using, but it is not necessary? I need a day of  - what else am i using and i do not need to.
2> not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me ::: He does not manipulate. And if it could look like it he just tells them - DO NOT GIVE ME ... WHAT EVER! Paul is also very clear!
3> would rather die than have anyone deprive me of this boast ::: Paul is so determent how death is a fact. The determination of Paul in what he does is only to be compared by death - in Palus mind...
4> preaching the gospel ::: PREACHING THE GOSPEL - PREACH Christoph PREACH. Be exited!!! BE FIRED UP !!!
                > he cannot boast ::: I fi am - no reason to boast and feel special - only thankful, that God filled my heart!
5> is compelled to preach ::: FACT NOW: I am not compelled. My heart is week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GOD HELP ME!
6> Woe to him if does not preach the gospel! ::: I do not feel like this. GOD HELP ME - CHANGE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7> preaching the gospel free of charge ::: OK - i could not do that. I have 3 kids and a wife. they want to eat. OK - could i life without spending any money by my selfe. What i want to have are autobiographies. I will stop spending money for anything else. Is that practical. Yes. Food - i can always take with me on my way.... LETS DO THAT. Where else do i charge but i am not in need?
                > he is not make use of his rights in preaching ::: ok -
8> he is free and belongs to no man ::: Wow - belongs to no man. And church. How should i read this. I belong to my group. I belong the the Gemeinderat. I belong to the F - I am not free - not like Paul. I need to become free! Free of anybody! GOD HELP ME!
9> he makes himself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible ::: How to make my selfe a slave this coming week?
10> he became like a Jew, to win the Jews :::
11> he became like one under the law (though he himself is not under the law), so as to win those under the law. :::
12> he became like one not having the law (though he is not free from God's law but he is under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law :::
13> he became weak, to win the weak :::
14> he become all things to all men ::: Yes - i have to
15> he, by all possible means, might save some ::: He is desperate to SAVE - I am not!!!!! GOD PLEASE CHANGE ME!!!!!!
16> he does all this for the sake of the gospel, that he may share in its blessings ::: He wants to have the blessings of the Gospel. WHAT WARE THE BLESSINGS OF THE GOSPEL?
I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
17> he does not run like a man running aimlessly ::: He has goals - WHAT ARE MY GOALS! Being close to God. Bringing God close to the people=making desciples
18> he does not fight like a man beating the air ::: He will win over - OVER WHAT DO I WANT TO WIN? My sin. HOW DO I FIGHT? NOT INTENSE! GOD HELP ME - CHANGE MY HEART!!!
19> he beats his body ::: YES I HAVE TO BEAT MY BODY!(start always sleeping at11pm)
                  > he makes his body to his slave, so that after he preached to others, he himself will not be disqualified for the prize. ::: Paul wants to be the example. GOD HELP ME TO BE AN EXAMPLE!!!!!
2 decisions:
11pm start sleeping + GO AND PRAY! OUT - EVERY DAY!

MY GOALS
I WANT TO STAY CLOSE TO GOD - The question always is: HOW CAN I BE CLOSE TO GOD NOW?
I WANT TO MAKE DISCIPLES - This has to become a habit again. This habit can never stop.

> HOW CAN I MAKE MY TIMES WITH GOD IN A WAY, THAT I GET MOVED DAILY? - this is the question for today - think Christoph, think! <

1.Cor9, 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
What am i doing for the Gospel today? >> i want to invite people to church - simples - street-mission!
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. What is it that a runner is doing, so he is successful? - transformed to street-mission today?
1. He is going to the start!2. He is starting / it is easy, even he knows it will hurt in a certain time. He will not look like  idiot - but if i am starting inviting people, i definitely look like a idiot. i don't want to look like this 25  Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. What is strict training for me? Where can i be more focused? : Make a plan for every day, where and when are you inviting. A Pro has every day one priority: training! To be able to win. What is my training? Reeding the Bible, praying, fill myself with Jesus/God/Bible. Tyler Hamilton sais, even you don't want to go training, just go for 15min - you feel better after 15min and you will actually train for real. Agassi always hated to play tennis, but he just played always. inviting 10min a day! Part of my training! Maybe i should studie and search for mission and motivation for the mission every day! Mission is not God. BUT GOD IS ON THE MISSION - I WANT TO DO WHAT HE IS DOING. I WANT TO FIND HIM, WHERE IS HE? HE IS ON THE MISSION> BEST THING I GUESS IS GO AND BE THE MISSION OF GOD. DOING WHAT I BELIEVE GOD IS DOING, IS MAYBE A LOGICAL WAY OF FINDING HIM! ... Need more thoughts on that.
They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last for ever. 26 Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

i had a meeting with some one. We just talked. No deep things. i realized it during the time. I did not change. I just need to get more open about my selfe, so people can find a way to talk and confess by them self.

1.Cor8,1 Now about food sacrificed to idols: > Paul is going like through a list of questions. We know that we all possess knowledge. > We know, that we all possess knowledge! Funny - we know, that we know. Why is knowing so important. Why is trusting not mor attractive, or loving, or believing. But knowing - wow, we all want to say: I know! Is it the control, what i have, when i know? What ever - what do i know  - nothing...  Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. > this is awesome - but i don't have much love  2 The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know. > How to really know anything?  3 But the man who loves God is known by God. > Introduction to the topic: 4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in the world and that there is no God but one. 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many gods and many lords), 6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. 7 But not everyone knows this. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat such food they think of it as having been sacrificed to an idol, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do. 9 Be careful, however, that the exercise of your freedom does not become a stumbling-block to the weak. 10 For if anyone with a weak conscience sees you who have this knowledge eating in an idol's temple,/Denn wenn jemand dich, der du Erkenntnis hast, im Götzentempel zu Tisch liegen sieht/Stell dir nur einmal vor, du nimmst im Tempel eines Götzen an einem Opfermahl teil (wozu du dich aufgrund deiner Erkenntnis berechtigt fühlstwon't he be emboldened to eat what has been sacrificed to idols? 11 So this weak brother, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.12 When you sin against your brothers in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause him to fall.

Dan6,1 It pleased Darius to appoint 120 satraps to rule throughout the kingdom, 2 with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss. 3 Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. 4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. 5 Finally these men said, We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.
6 So the administrators and the satraps went as a group to the king and said: O King Darius, live for ever! 7 The royal administrators, prefects, satraps, advisers and governors have all agreed that the king should issue an edict and enforce the decree that anyone who prays to any god or man during the next thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be thrown into the lions' den. 8 Now, O king, issue the decree and put it in writing so that it cannot be altered- in accordance with the laws of the Medes and Persians, which cannot berepealed. 9 So King Darius put the decree in writing. 10 Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened towards Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. 11 Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help. 12 So they went to the king and spoke to him about his royal decree: Did you not publish a decree that during the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or man except to you, O king, would be thrown into the lions' den? The king answered, The decree stands- in accordance with the laws of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed. 13 Then they said to the king, Daniel, who is one of the exiles from Judah, pays no attention to you, O king, or to the decree you put in writing. He still prays three times a day. 14 When the king heard this, he was greatly distressed; he was determined to rescue Daniel and made every effort until sundown to save him. 15 Then the men went as a group to the king and said to him, Remember, O king, that according to the law of the Medes and Persians no decree or edict that the king issues can be changed. 16 So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions' den. The king said to Daniel, May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you! 17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel's situation might not be changed. 18 Then the king returned to his palace and spent the night without eating and without any entertainment being brought to him. And he could not sleep. 19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions' den. 20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions? 21 Daniel answered, O king, live for ever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king. 23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. 24 At the king's command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions' den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.25 Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations and men of every language throughout the land:May you prosper greatly! 26 I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he endures for ever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. 27 He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions. 28 So Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

1.Cor7,12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 13 And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. 14 For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. > ? 15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. > Why is he saying this now? 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? > Why is he saying this now? 17 Nevertheless, each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him. > Why is he saying this now? This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.
18 Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commands is what counts./sondern das Halten der Gebote Gottes. > I don't often hear a sermon about this statement. We do talk around in using Grace as a Joker-Word. 20 Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him. >  21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you- although if you can gain your freedom, do so. > Interesting words for al slaves, abused, killed, humiliated, .... 22 For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave. 23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. 24 Brothers, each man, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to. 25 Now about virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy. 26 Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for you to remain as you are. 27 Are you married? Do not seek a divorce. Are you unmarried? Do not look for a wife. 28 But if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.
29 What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short.
From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none;
30 those who mourn, as if they did not;
those who are happy, as if they were not;
those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep;
31 those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them.
For this world in its present form is passing away.
32 I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord's affairs- how he can please the Lord. 33 But a married man is concerned about the affairs of this world- how he can please his wife- 34 and his interests are divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the Lord's affairs: Her aim is to be devoted to the Lord in both body and spirit.
But a married woman is concerned about the affairs of this world- how she can please her husband. 35 I am saying this for your own good, not to restrict you, but that you may live in a right way in undivided devotion to the Lord. 36 If anyone thinks he is acting improperly towards the virgin he is engaged to, and if she is getting on in years and he feels he ought to marry, he should do as he wants. He is not sinning. They should get married. 37 But the man who has settled the matter in his own mind, who is under no compulsion but has control over his own will, and who has made up his mind not to marry the virgin- this man also does the right thing. 38 So then, he who marries the virgin does right, but he who does not marry her does even better. 39 A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord. 40 In my judgment, she is happier if she stays as she is- and I think that I too have the Spirit of God.
> V29, V30, V31 i need to think about it more! Incredible!

God help me to be loving today - and faithful!

1.Cor7,1 Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry. > I never hoped it would be god for me. I always felt i need to marrie - very much. 2 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. > Immoraliy as the reason for marriage = completely understand and that is me.  3 The husband should fulfil his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. > How Paul is writing about sex is just incredible to the point and simple and non-sentimental ... What ever - would need to make way more words around this to say the same, because i am so afraid to say what i think. What i think is not sue because my conviction are not strong.  5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. > SELF-CONTROL - It is so hard to learn this! Where is my SEFL-CONTROL.  I need to have 2 not easy talks sunday -GOD GIVE ME THE SELF-CONTROL, THAT I WILL GO THEIR AND HAVE THEM  - THIS TALKS  6 I say this as a concession, not as a command. 7 I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. 8 Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. > WoW - Paul knows the words, burn in passion - how? Since he does not have this problem at all? Paul would not burn in passion - still he shows totally understanding of the burning passion in single-people.  10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord) > OK - it is interesting how clear he makes it: A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife. > Most people just don't car about this command of the Lord right here. 12 To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord> Still - Just Paul : If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. 15 But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. 16 How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? 17 Nevertheless, each one should retain the place in life that the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches. 18 Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God's commands is what counts. 20 Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him. 21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you- although if you can gain your freedom, do so. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; 30 those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; 31 those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them.

1.Cor6,
12 Everything is permissible for me- but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible for me- but I will not be mastered by anything.
13 Food for the stomach and the stomach for food- but God will destroy them both.

The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. > a statement not many people have in mind!

14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.> Why now this?
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself?> My body is a member oc Christ himself! Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!  > !!! <
16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, The two will become one flesh.> I maybe know - do i realize it = wow i am so unwise. No idea. So dull!!!
17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.> I can actually be united withe the Lord!
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.>
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;> I am not my own!
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body.

Honoring God

Joh15,
> An Jesus bleiben. Was heisst das?

Bleibt in meiner Liebe!

Warum sollte man Jesus hassen?

Snow is falling here

Yesterday one of the most crazy meetings ever

What is going on?

What should i do?

Is being righteous going around and apologize?

Is being righteous going around and challenge the sin?

Where is the love
in myself - do i have any?
in the other - do they see even?

i am wondering what people think a night long when they can not sleep?

What should we do now?

What would Jesus do? > normally a no brainer - but here: I don't know!

[i go now to dentist then i need to meet a brother - then  a other brother / i have no time to think! Should i take the time to think?]

1.Cor6,1 If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? > Of corse not - don't know, when i ever would do that - but never say never - hurt is hurting ...!
2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? > We will judge the world! I did not know! - Ones i will judge the world - why not seeing clearly in trivial cases. If i am personally envolved things become very complicated! Because i can never be fair enough!
3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! > Oh i really did not know!
4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church!4 4 Wenn ihr nun über alltägliche Dinge Rechtshändel habt, so setzt ihr die zu Richtern ein, die in der Gemeinde3Versammlung nichts gelten!4so setzt doch die zu Richtern ein, die in der Gemeinde nichts gelten! > Little account is still better then worldly judges.
5 I say this to shame you. / 5 Zur Beschämung sage ich es euch. > OH WOW - I never knew that Paul wanted to shame the Korint-Church-Brothers and Sisters ... Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? > Unbelievable!
6 But instead, one brother goes to law against another- and this in front of unbelievers! > When i read this - it does not seem crazy to me - BUT this is just a sign of my worldliness.
7 The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. > Completely defeated already. Wow! I really do have no idea about church-life. Never in my life i would make such conclusions....
Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? > WHY NOT RATHER BE WRONGED?
WHY NOT RATHER BE CHEATED!
YES
WHY AM I NOT HUMBLE?

8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers. > He is just saying it! Straightforward! You cheat / You do wrong / And you do this to your brothers!
9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? / 9 Oder wisst ihr nicht, dass Ungerechte das Reich Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral
nor idolaters nor adulterers
nor male prostitutes
nor homosexual offenders
10 nor thieves
nor the greedy
nor drunkards
nor slanderers
nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.  > A list - not good!
11 And that is what some of you were. > Yes - that is from where i am coming!
But you were washed,
you were sanctified,
you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. > I AM CLEAN NOW!

What do i learn - Paul is absolut secure about what he is talking about!!!
Paul is very straightforward: In the encouraging things he is saying as well as in the challenging things
Paul has a high standart about being humble!

WHY NOT RATHER BE WRONGED?
WHY NOT RATHER BE CHEATED!
YES
WHY AM I NOT HUMBLE?

Yes why not?
