What is that - a life like this!
i try to think, that this is going on now.
looking out of my window in Berlin.

the most dangerous thing is traffic
my laptop is working

I told Nina:"Make a drawing of this apple!"
Nina said:"No - to easy!"
I aid:"Not at all!"
And started to try it by myselfe - with felt-tip pen...
What i said is true: It is not easy at all ...
But i tried - and Nina get inspired and tried as well
It was still raining after i stopped trying to catch the apple

LK4,42 At daybreak, Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for him and when they came to where he was, they tried to keep him from leaving them.
43 But he said,
“I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.”
44 And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
> BECAUSE THAT IS WHY I WAS SENT.
> WHY AM I LIVING HERE? -> WHEN I SAY I AM A FOLLOWER OF JESUS WHO SAYS THIS!
Jesus : LK4,23 Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.’ ” 24 “Truly I tell you,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown. 25 I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. 26 Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon. 27 And there were many in Israel with leprosy7 in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.” 28 All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this.
29 They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him off the cliff. 30 But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way.
> They all liked his sermon. But then Jesus just turns around and telling them this incredible message!
I read it
It is to me
out of the blue! BAAAAM
> if i preach and people would have this kind of reaction - like in Vers 22 described - i would be well pleased. - I would never in the world ad this sentences like Jesus did!
> Angry people - what can they do?
> Am i saying what i really think?
Or am i drowned in a 'Cheap-Grace-Pool' myself?
Am i protecting 'peace where is no peace'?

Jesus : LK 4,22 All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips.

I underlined in my Bible-reading some sentences - WHY?
MK14,72 Immediately the rooster crowed the second time.8 Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows twice9 you will disown me three times.” And he broke down and wept.
> How quick Peter repented - immediately he was deeply broken - at least it seams like this to me - Could i cry so quickly?
MK15,10 knowing it was out of self-interest that the chief priests had handed Jesus over to him.
> He saw it - it was obvious - What is obvious to me and i don't say anything?
MK15,21 A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus,(...)
MK15,23(...)but he did not take it.
MK15,25 It was nine in the morning when they crucified him.
MK15,34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).2 35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.” 36 Someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to take him down,” he said.
MK15,39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died,3 he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”
MK15,40 Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph, and Salome. 41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.
MK15,43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.
MK16,8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. 9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
MK15,15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
> Flogging is on vers - v16-20 is about how they ridiculed Jesus. - Is physical pain easier to handle then emotional pain -?-
MK15,21 A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus,(...)
> Alexander & Rufus: i guess 'we will meet them later in Acts again' - How must it have ben for Simon to take the cross of Jesus? I wish i would be Simon. To see the real Jesus/ walk with him/ side by side/just support a little little bit - : if i could see Jesus in the suffering people in my life more clear!
MK15,23(...)but he did not take it.
> Nothing waht Jesus help to endure the pain was acceptable for Jesus. Their are so many things i take to avoid or relieve pain: Food, Entertaining, Anger, Sin ...
MK15,25 It was nine in the morning when they crucified him.
MK15,29 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, 30 come down from the cross and save yourself!” 31 In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! 32 Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
> What happened in front of the hanging Jesus / what people ae saying / people who must have seen his miracles or even experienced it by them self / What are they saying?
he should help him self / he should prove / Why are they saying this?
Why being angry with some one who just helped and loved always?
I don't know?
MK15,33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
MK15,33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.
> It was experienced even in Greece. Darkness. They had to make fire in order to guard the Son of God. Like it was night.
> They still knew, that if some would be heard by God - it was the men they nailed to the cross.
MK15,39 And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died,3 he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God!”
> How did this Centurion feel in the moment he realized what is happening - what he did - what kind of action he was guarding!
MK15,40 Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joseph, and Salome. 41 In Galilee these women had followed him and cared for his needs. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were also there.
> Many women where their. Where are the men?
MK15,43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus’ body.
> He was in the meetings where they sentenced Jesus to death!
MK16,8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. 9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
> I like the ending because it is not the ending. When people red this, they realized, that completely fearful women did not remain silent! They overcame - because otherwise, we would not read know what Mark wrote down for us!
Am i overcoming my fears and weaknesses? Because i believe and know - JESUS? DO I?
Freitag, 19. Juli 2013
MK14,61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.
Again the high priest asked him,
“Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
62 “I am,”
said Jesus.
“And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One
and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
> one of the most hopeful statements of Jesus - was the reason for his crucifixion

MK14,12-16 /
“Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 Say to the owner of the house he enters, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.” 16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them.
> OK -two opportunities i can see - which one is it?
Did Jesus had the mind and knowledge of God > So he just knew what is the future in a absolut perfect and detailed way? - And so he could tell about the men and the water....
OR
Did Jesus just car about each and every one around him, in the towns he visited, the village he went to, that he knew the people and their habits in such a personal way, that he knew this servant personally from a talk he had with him: So Jesus would know when this servant would go out for water. He would know the servant master. Jesus also talked ones with this master about his upper room and Jesus maybe was even invited by this master to eat up their.
Jesus knew the people - but not the future.
Jesus knew the people so much because he loved them so much: HE WAS EVEN WILLING TO DIE FOR THIS SERVANT, CARRYING THE WATER BACK IN TO THE HOUSE OF HIS MASTER. THE LOVE OF JESUS WAS NOT JUST A WARM FEELING - BUT CARE
I like the second much more - but i don't know
:-)

Skyfall - outside in the hot sun - from a almost broken eastern-europe-radio - the heavy, poignant melody filling the hot air in our backyard in Zamutov. - How will i listen to this music 40years from now = what will it tell me about the time i am living in it now?
Will it be the time of a great start
- a time where i truly started to give it ALL like the lady in MK14,3?

MK13,35 “Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. 36 If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. 37 What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”
Watch out / keep watch // Always be ready that Jesus could come. Could he come NOW? What is with me, that he would find me in?
I came home lately - from 5days being away from family - i opened the door to our apartment. Nina heard it and ran out of the room screaming Papi, Papi and threw her arms around me.

MK12,38 As he taught, Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted with respect in the marketplaces, 39 and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.
They demand respect
Respect is important to me
Jesus security and joy was not depended on the respect of others
He was only depended on His Father in Heaven
It is very easy to write this down
but for me : How can i JUST depend on GOD - my father? MORE -
my guess: Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray,
They demand respect

It is very easy to write this down

MK11,22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
24 Therefore I tell you,
whatever you ask for in prayer,
believe that you have received it,
and it will be yours.
25-26 And when you stand praying,
if you hold anything against anyone,
forgive them,
so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
again - what in the world would i like to ask?
A 'every day'-Morning for Jesus - but he can not have breakfast:
MK11,12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
I am in vacation.
Is vacation a time of fruit? What i am doing to bring fruit?
There are many things i could do - it just would require a little extra energy.
I have two opportunities i could follow up here.

MK11,11 Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
> I like this - it is so normal. He is like a tourist. I guess it would not be AT ALL, what i would do, when a town would welcome me like Jerusalem welcomed Jesus.

MK10,46 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. 51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
Some times we would not even need to wait till it happens. Just - what is my answer to the question: "What do you want me to do for you?"
What?
Some times we would not even need to wait till it happens. Just - what is my answer to the question: "What do you want me to do for you?"
What?
MK10,17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. “Good teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered.
“No one is good—except God alone.
19 You know the commandments:
‘You shall not murder,
you shall not commit adultery,
you shall not steal,
you shall not give false testimony,
you shall not defraud,
honor your father and mother.’”
20 “Teacher,” he declared, “all these I have kept since I was a boy.”
21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said.
“Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven.
Then come, follow me.”
22 At this the man’s face fell.
He went away sad,
because he had great wealth.
23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”
24 The disciples were amazed at his words.
But Jesus said again, “Children,
how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel
to go through the eye of a needle
than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?”
27 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible,
but not with God;
all things are possible with God.”
28 Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”
29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields
for me and the gospel
30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much
in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.
31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered.
“No one is good—except God alone.

What i underlined today in my Biblereading
MK8,2b they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat.
3days and nothing to eat but being with Jesus.
I just really would like to have more details about this 3 days.
Can i entertain my kids for 3 dyas, so that they forget to eat? What a great God and father we have!
MK8,32b and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.
MK8,33c “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
WOW - is it, that Satan is oriented on what i want? Is he oriented on my concerns?
So - if i would repent and be oriented on God's concern, he falls off powerless?
It also reads as if Satan is empty. The only thing what makes him running is us and lying about God
SO - FOCUS - What is God concerned today?
MK8,34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life2 will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
Self-denying - the best thing in christian life - no question - awesome. JUST DO IT!
MK9,6 (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)
MK9,7b “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”
Would God say that about me - today - yesterday - how about having a life, where God really would say it? Look at Christoph - listen to him!!!
When i share to Gospel - for sure God is saying it!
MK9,13c just as it is written about him.
MK9,19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
MK9,23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
MK10,1c and as was his custom, he taught them.

Every detail about Jesus written in the Old Testament came a life in Jesus - every detail. Why do humans think, some detail about salvation(!) would not be important to God?
MK9,19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.”
The same like yesterday. What do i want from God? What is worth every thing, every humiliation, every pain?
Am i a person who believes in something? How much?
How are people how do not believe in anything?
Do i know people who believe so much in - what ever? How are this people?
MK9,23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
EVERYTHING - POSSIBLE
What do i want?
MK9,29b “This kind can come out only by prayer.”
ONLY PRAYER
not Bible-reading!
P R A Y E R
MK9,50 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.”
Not sure -
What is my custom, when i am with a crowd?

This is a description of a(the?) greatest preacher(ever?): How a preacher should be:
Mk6,17 For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife, whom he had married. 18 For John had been saying to Herod, “It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.” 19 So Herodias nursed a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But she was not able to, 20 because Herod feared John and protected him, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man. When Herod heard John, he was greatly puzzled; yet he liked to listen to him.

California dreaming
some one explane this to me - please
Stepped into a church I passed along the way
well, I got down on my knees
and I pretended to pray
you know the preacher likes the cold
he knows I'm gonna stay
California dreaming
on such a winters day
gifts
I went and bought gifts
It is such an awesome feeling
Is it true,
that to get birthday presents is the better feeling
then to go buy them for some one
