Acts17,16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. > how would Paul feel in Berlin? So much hate towards God! Why am i not greatly distressed? What was he thinking? - Paul would freek-out in Berlin!!! He was close to GOD!
17 So he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the market-place day by day with those who happened to be there. > He reasoned with Jews&God-fearing Greeks /// He connects with the God-fearing people first - what was he reasoning about? Jesus? Where would that place be for me to go and reason?
18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him. > So unbelievers start to take notice about Paul! They take him serious and start a dispute with him!
Some of them asked, What is this babbler trying to say?  > Paul was disputing / reasoning AND some thought HE IS A BABBLER <> so if Paul some times missed the heart of the people - shows, none is perfect OR they didn't were open...
BUT I HAVE TO GO IN THEIR.
I HAVE TO BE AROUND TO BA ABLE TO START A REASONING AND A DISPUTE:

BUT FIRST: AM I GREATLY DISTRESSED?

Others remarked, He seems to be advocating foreign gods.
 > Very smart - but at least listening
They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
 > HE WAS PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS AND THE RESURRECTION!
What is the good news about Jesus?
What about resurrection?

I want to learn more about Jesus, about the cross and about the resurrection!
Facts, Stories, Theologies ...
GOD HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND.

What is the good news?

I am so excited about this time with God and to learn about Paul when he is waiting!
