Today is friday and i have to go to dentiste after taking antibiotics for 2,5days against the pain. No idea if this really helped. God help me except the pain
1.Cor5,1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father's wife. > ...
2 And you are proud! > How - put mostly if Sin is strong, pride is even stronger. How crazy are we people? How wired to defend us in every case. First we need to break before we can except our sinfulness.
I am prideful too. For what reason am i prideful anyway? Did i do anything great? NO! Still i think i am the men. I do not say that but deep in my heart i have this feeling all the time living and i need to be so active and awake to realize what is going on!
I need to fight pride all the time.
Also i could say i am selfish. My feelings have such a dominant power in my life. What is first. Pride or Selfishness? Shouldn't you rather have been filled with grief and have put out of your fellowship the man who did this? > Grief - when did i have grief the last time about my sin? Sin is sin. I believe. Sins consequences are different ... anyway - GRIEF: When did i greif the last time about my Sin. About missing the mark? 2 Und ihr seid aufgeblasen und habt nicht etwa Leid getragen, damit der, der diese Tat begangen hat, aus eurer Mitte entfernt würde! > The german translation is funny. But grief - cary suffering! Grief!
AND TOO:
They should have send this men away!
AND PUT OUT THE MAN WHO DID THIS - The man! Not the women! What about her! What about the husband.
-
OK - and also - Paul wrights 4 full chapter till he arrives here at the low level of the church. If i would write the letter, i would start right at the low level. Can' help it! Need to stay right from the beginning.
Why is he waiting so long with this challenge. It is even crazy.
-
But too: He just needs one sentence. The next sentence is about how they handled it. And then about their hearts.
-
AND IT IS ALL WRITTEN IN QUESTIONS AND WHAT HE HEARD? Only the statement: You are proud is a direct challenge - i guess he is sure about. And maybe a little bit frustrated about it too!
:::
I am a sinful person - but still prideful.
I should feel grief about my Sin - WHY DO I NOT FEL IT? - Because i am superficial !!! Far in my heart from God or just heard in my heart.
The full 4 chapters Paul talks before he addresses the issue here
How simple and direct Paul is
How many questions he is asking them
Then he shares what he will do when he is coming.
He does not really say what they need to do now!?
First thing what he asking them is how they should react in their heart about it.
this are things i see here:
What does it mean for me?
Pride / Grief / God's love is more important then anything else(4chapters) / Be simple / Ask questions / Share what i would do(trying to do) / I do not need to command(?) / Ask first about the heart!!
What does this say about the men Paul?
....
3 Even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit. > What does really mean? And I have already passed judgment on the one who did this, just as if I were present. > Again - the men. Not the women! How does the husband feel about it! What is with him?
4 When you are assembled in the name of our Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,
5 hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord. > OK - now - / ? \
6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast works through the whole batch of dough?
7 Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast- as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.
9 I have written to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people-
10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
13 God will judge those outside. Expel the wicked man from among you.
