Acts8,26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Go south to the road- the desert road- that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians. This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, Go to that chariot and stay near it. 30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. Do you understand what you are reading? Philip asked. 31 How can I, he said, unless someone explains it to me? So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. 32 The eunuch was reading this passage of Scripture: He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth. 34 The eunuch asked Philip, Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else? 35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus. 36-37 As they travelled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptised? 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing. 40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and travelled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.

An angel tells Philip where to go -> would i be willing to go ?
~
Then the Spirit just tells this: Go to that chariot and stay near it -> It is like, go and listen! And God trust Philip, that when he hears what God hears Philip will know what to do :-) --> Listening is second in evangelism, after meeting someone i have to listen ---> Am i also so reliable that God just can send me somewhere, where i would hear certain things and this would bring me in action for god ?
~
Philip ask now - do you understand? -> third in evangelism is asking questions - Am i good in asking question ?
~
The Eunuch is very open and willing to learn! -> he invites Philip right in to his chariot! --> In order to learn, do i invite people as well into my home and life, that they can teach me ?
~
the Eunuch is already in searching! -> What am i searching for?[How does the Holy Spirit work - How can i become part of the work of the Holy Spirit?] The Eunuch also is not prideful about what he already find out - he wants to truth not knowledge! --> Am i so eager and willing to learn ?
~
Philip tells him the good news about Jesus. -> Could i tell someone the GoodNews about Jesus[With the old testament]?
~
The Eunuch let himself be baptize. -> Am i so quick in doing what is written?[how clear was baptism in this days!AWESOME]
~
The Spirit is Philip moving away! -> The Spirit did not move Philip in the desert. He builded Philips trust in God, in letting him walk for a while on the desert road and not seeing anybody and any reason, for why does he need to be in desert. -> How quick am i confused and discouraged after not seeing results of what i am doing FOR GOD ?
~
The Eunuch is rejoicing -> AM I REJOICING NOW? I am in the same stage of life - safe, have the Holy Spirit ...
~
Philip travels about: preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea. -> It is not the Holy Spirit telling him. It was just clear for Philip, that this is what he has to do: PREACHING IN ALL THE TOWNS. --> Is this so clear for me - That i have to preach?
~

So cool - never found so many new points out of Philip! The rejoicing-point is the most helpful now. Being here in SanAntonio and feeling sometimes overwhelmed in what i have to do. Also: How quick am i confused and discouraged after no seeing results of what i am doing FOR GOD? This is helpful for being at home in Berlin...preaching every day:-)
