Acts9,1 Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest 2 and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way,whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. 3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 5 Who are you, Lord? Saul asked. I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting, he replied. 6 Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do. 7 The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. 8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. 9 For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything. 10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, Ananias! Yes, Lord, he answered. 11The Lord told him, Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight. 13 Lord,Ananias answered, I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name. 15 But the Lord said to Ananias, Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name. 17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, Brother Saul, the Lord- Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here- has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit. 18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptised,Saul in Damascus and Jerusalem 19 and after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus.

As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.  - Paul has the rear privilege to see a vision - Visions from God are not because someone is doing so good. Vision from God are because God chose so. God chose me. God showed up in my life, because he chose so. Because he loves me :-) SO COOL! - Do i feel chosen by God today?:::He fell to the ground - Gods power is smashing the wildest persecutor on the ground. Gods power is overwhelming every one. There is no human and no damon who is able to stand before the almighty GOD. An now: GOD'S Spirit is living in me and i can stand, what ever is coming at me. - What am i afraid of? At the time i am afraid, that i can not get satisfaction - so i watch movies. Hang around. But i guess i am afraid, that i can not do, what i need to do! I FEEL WEEK, SO I DISTRACT MY SELF.

and heard a voice say to him - God speaks to the murderer and persecutor. He speaks to him - WHY NOT TO ME. Where is my faith, that i am doubting, that God loves me, cares about me, sees me wants to help me ? - HAVE FAITH CHRISTOPH

Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? - Saul does not want to persecute such a powerful and amazing being, who is standing in the air in such a powerful light and talks with such a mighty voice! No one  wants to do that! - Also i would never be willing to persecute the Jesus standing in the heaven. But the Jesus living in the lowest - i maybe do not car ore even get annoyed about !

Who are you, Lord? - He is surprised, that this being flying over him feels persecuted by him! How in the world is that happening. He does not know the LORD! Even he is sure about following the LORD. - Do i know the Lord. Do i realize where the Lord is? Can i recognize the Lord in my life ore do i walk by?

Saul asked. -- I like this. - I can ask to! When was it last time i asked? With all my heart - a question about the Lord, because i missed him out, because i start to feel distant ore not feel anything, not even distant. Just nothing anymore. GOD WHERE ARE YOU I DO NOT EVEN MISS YOU ANYMORE! When was i the last time desperate  about him. When i see who mighty and in all glory he is over Paul standing, i know: i could have WAY more closeness in my relationship to him! Is that all. ?

I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting - Jesus takes personally

how we treat the church,

how we think about the church,

how we serve the church,

how we talk about the church,

how we love the church. - What is the church in Berlin for me? My Boss? My life? Where am i in my heart towards the church in Berlin and worldwide?

he replied - GOD is answering! God answers Paul. God is answering me too!!!! How exciting, that God is answering us. What is my question at the time - today? - My Question is: God what do you think about the prayer and faith my wife has? WHAT DO YOU THINK GOD

Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do. - 1. Get up / 2. Go in the city / 3. you will be told what you must do. > Jesus is specific. It is very brief. Very simple. Very clear. No greek is necessary to understand what Paul need to do. The same is true today. What i need to do is not  complicated but am i willing to do it for God/Jesus/HolySpirit?

The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. - Others could hear what is going on! -  I see what is going on! Do i take it personally? Do i think, it is no evident, that i am their realizing what is going on, but God wants me to hear this and he wants to communicate to me something! - What is going on now, what i am seeing from far? What is God showing me and where should i rethink about my heart towards what is happening?

Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. - It was over fast. It was still very hot out there on the street to Damaskus. It was still the same guys standing around. He still had his letters in his hand. He still was free to do what he wanted. But God did in addition to that one more Miracle. He was blind! He could not read his letter. He could not find the way to Damaskus alone. He could not go and seek the Christians. He just was depending, that other help him to go somewhere. - God is arranging the circumstances in Pauls life in a way, that it was most difficult to go back into the old routine. He is helping as much as possible. BUT PAUL STILL HAD TO BE WILLINGLY DIFFERENT. he could say: Anyway, i want to do it still, please lead me to the Synagog-Leader. I will stay there... - What can i decide in order to do Gods will. Do i make decisions in my life in a way, that i am obedient ore do i make decisions in a way that leads away from God's plan for my life?

So they led him by the hand into Damascus. - by the hand. It sour like leading a child. - To start over. To repent: there is sometimes help needed like help to a child. Walking by hand. - Do i give out my hand in order to do show my repentance by the deeds?

For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything. - he tune some time to think. God gave him some time to think. DO i have time to think? Do i take the time i have, given by God to think?

In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. - The Ananias in my life is here. He is not far. His is maybe not the most comfortable but the best for me! God helps. God has provided. God is here and helpful with the best help! Do i accept God's help for me? Ore do i wait for something different and better in my mind?

The Lord called to him in a vision - God does many miracles to safe the live of Paul. I believe: ones in heaven we see, that God did the exact same kind of miracles to safe us. He loves every on in the same way!

Ananias! - He knows our name. He knows to what we are able to do. He knows where are our borders of what we are able to do and what we are not able to do. When Ananias baptized Paul, it was just because the LOR told him so and Ananias was obedient. Not because Ananias was so awesome. Ananias knew that. All the glory was for God. God safe Paul. But he worked through the obedient of Ananias. - Am i obedient, that God can work through me in the same way?

Yes, Lord, - the heart of Ananias is 'YES LORD!' - What is my heart towards God tells me in the scriptures?

he answered. - Ananias is answering. He talks with God. - When was the last time, that i had a talk with GOD?

The Lord told him -  What has the Lord told me today? WHAT IS IT? IF SOMEONE IS ASKING? COULD I SAY, THE LORD TOLD ME TODAY? At the time i am not sure what it is! Why could i not know, what the Lord tells me today personally for me?

Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight. - 1. God to this house / 2. Ask for Saul[he had a vision]  / 3. Vision is what Ananias has to do: place his hands on him to restore his sight > A miracle! 

Again: very simple advise and command. Go there and do this. DO A MIRACLE! - go and make disciple is a miracle: GO AND DO A MIRACLE IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!  - Why should i not be willing to do that?

Lord,Ananias answered, I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name. - Ananias tells the LORD, what he knows about the situation. Name and action of Saul. As if the LORD WOULD NOT KNOW!!! - This is exactly how i make excuse. I tell God how difficult things are, because i know them. But i forget, that God knows it already and that he also knows me and my heart. So he gave it to me. Because he knows. AND HE IS ALWAYS THERE WITH ME BECAUSE HE IS IN ME! LETS THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES AND BABTISE THEM NAD TEACH THEM EVERYTHING TO OBEY ! IT IS A MIRACLE AND GOD KNOWS IT AND GOS KNOWS THAT I CAN DO IT!

 But the Lord said to Ananias, - God helps with his word. I need to hear GOD. GOD NEEDS TO HAVE THE LAST WORD NOT I! - God always in my life needs to have the last word from now on!

Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.  - Who is this man? A chosen instrument / neds to carry Gods name to the Gentiles, their kinds, and to the people of Israel. / God will show him how much he needs to suffer for him. - What is the different to my life? I DO NOT KNOW - THIS IS MY LIFE TOO. This is the life of Ananias as well. - BUT God tells him, that Paul will be open and become a disciple of Jesus. - honestly, this i would like to know sometimes beforehand.!!!! But God is God and with me.

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, Brother Saul, the Lord- Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here- has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit. - Ananias does not have the last word. The Last word has God in Ananias life and so Ananias is obedient. He does exactly what God tells him.

Then first thing he said is 'Brother' > To Saul, the murderer! So much faith for him was in Ananias! - Who do i see people? Do i see what they can become ore what they have ben? / Ananias tells Saul, what he experienced on the way to Damaskus. on the way to kill! he tells him: YOU WILL SEE AGAIN &RECEIVE THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL - THE GIFT OF THE HOLLY SPIRIT - HE WILL BE FILLED WITH THIS GIFT.

Gods grace is overwhelming. WHAT DO I DO WITH THE GIFT OF THE HOLLY SPIRIT?

Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he could see again. - Paul could see - the miracle happened! He did not deserve it. He could walk away now and go to the Synagogroler and start to persecute the Christians in Damaskus. He had free will! - What do i do with the blessings God gave to me. Do i use them for me ore do i use them for GOD and do i life the obedient life?

He got up and was baptized - Paul was obedient and he started following God before he was baptized. For sure the servants Paul had coming with him to Damaskus were in the house, when all this happened. So he clearly changed in front of every one. No compromise. And this is also a scripture that aces clear for what baptism actually is. To safe. For the Holly Spirit. - Where do i make compromises?

and after taking some food, he regained his strength. Saul spent several days with the disciples in Damascus. - Paul joined the fellowship, even it was very hard for him and the disciples. Fellowship, fellowship > Church. Paul joined the church, joined JESUS, as is learned on the way to Damaskus. - Do i love the fellowship?
