Acts27,13 When a gentle south wind began to blow, they thought they had obtained what they wanted; so they weighed anchor and sailed along the shore of Crete. > They tried to stay close to the Land - security
14 Before very long, a wind of hurricane force, called the north-easter, swept down from the island. > OK now - a storm is coming!
15 The ship was caught by the storm and could not head into the wind; so we gave way to it and were driven along. > overpowered by the storm
16 As we passed to the lee of a small island called Cauda, we were hardly able to make the lifeboat secure. > It is so shaking, that they almost can not manage to work and fix stuff on the ship
17 When the men had hoisted it aboard, they passed ropes under the ship itself to hold it together. Fearing that they would run aground on the sand-bars of Syrtis, they lowered the sea anchor and let the ship be driven along. > They trie to hold the ship together and try to stop drifting.
18 We took such a violent battering from the storm that the next day they began to throw the cargo overboard. > It became so violant, that they trough out all the cargo!
19 On the third day, they threw the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands. > Then they through even this away - with their own hand!
20 When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved. > They think, they will die! Luke is writing it!
21 After the men had gone a long time without food, > hungry in a storm in fear of death - seams taff! Paul stood up before them and said: > Who would like to listen to wirds, when you ar hungry and when you are afraid of death. ONly if i have a message i would stand up.

What is my message?

What am i doing so i could share from my life?

DO i stand up and share?

Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete; then you would have spared yourselves this damage and loss. > Imagine, Storm is shaking the boot wildly, they almost can not stand, they fear death -  and what is Paul saying: You should have taken my advise! - Listen to me now!
22 But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. > I URGE YOU TO KEEP UP YOUR COURAGE! - why - because no one will be lost! > It is for as christians the same : KEEP UP MY COURAGE - BECAUSE I WILL NOT BE LOST!!!!
23 Last night an angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me  > I am God's possession and i serve God! < FIRST PART I LIKE / IS SECOND PART TRUE FOR ME?
24 and said, 'Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.' > The message from God so many times: DO NOT BE AFRAID!!! God also needed to encourage Paul!!!Paul was afraid too!

"and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you!"

God gives always graciously, never because we would earn it! - BUT HARD WORK - IS GOD NOT REWORDING IT ?

HOW DO I DESERVE GOD'S FAVOUR? - It is a present. I ask my Son, what do you wish for Christmas and he knows what. DO I AKS GOD - DO I KNOW WHAT TO ASK?

25 So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me. > Again: Men keep up your courage!
26 Nevertheless, we must run aground on some island. > But we wil loos the ship and just save our life!

Nevertheless - it will be hard but we will survive!
