Some think they are drunk

Peter says NO!

WE ARE NOT DRUNK

Peter quotes the Joel - even the part with the dark Sun…

Peter starts his Lesson with a scripture

Peter starts directly with the fact, that they killed Jesus!

Then he says what God has done - resurrected Jesus!

because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 

Then Peter says something about Jesus - by quoting David

He makes a picture of who Jesus is through Old Testament prophesies

V25 David said about him:'I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

David says:

therefor i am joyful

I will life in hope

You will not let die my Soul

You will your followers not get destroyed

You showed me ways of LIFE

You will fill me up with joy before YOU face

<> all of this

is about Jesus, sais Peter!

he argues that Jesus is lifted up as a living Men in to heaven and now sitting at the right hand of God the father!

V36 Everybody needs to know now

That God made this Jesus to the Lord and Christ

THIS JESUS YOU CRUCIFIED!

They heard this

and it cut there heart!

WHAT CAN WE DO NOW?

Peter said:

Repent

be baptized in the Name of Jesus

                  for the forgiveness of Sin

&

                  you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit

This is for you

This is for all how come after you

as many as God will call to him!

With many other words:::AGAIN REAL:

38 Peter replied, Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off- for all whom the Lord our God will call. 40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, Save yourselves from this corrupt generation. 41 Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
