Acts12,37 As the soldiers were about to take Paul into the barracks, he asked the commander, May I say something to you? Do you speak Greek? he replied. > Paul is not intimidated by the angry people - also he is not frustrated by their hate - he also is not happy that he got away: But he wants to say something to them!
38 Aren't you the Egyptian who started a revolt and led four thousand terrorists out into the desert some time ago? > Now i can see, that the Romans thought about Paul, that he is someone else!
39 Paul answered, I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no ordinary city. Please let me speak to the people. > Paul is so eager! He is so ready and clear in his mind, even he almost got lynched
40 Having received the commander's permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned to the crowd. When they were all silent, he said to them in Aramaic: > Paul silenced them!
Paul is not giving up on them
He still wants to talk and explane and communicate
He believes that if they have the right explenation they would be peacefull ...
Paul is so resilient!
GOD HELP ME TO BECOME RESILIENT TOO!
