Acts20,7 On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.
> Paul has a lot on his heart - he does not think about the capacity people have in order to listen. He just shares every thing he has on his heart. - Also: He has a lot on his heart! - (no sermon notes!) /
>> What about me: towards my group: how much do i have on my heart for them - to share? / I think: to get things on my heart i would need to pray and read, while i am living out their.?.
8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room where we were meeting.
> Interesting Details - would never ben recorded in a novel
9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third storey and was picked up dead.
> He died! During a sermon from Paul - because it was so long - people became so tired - somone even died. BUUT PAUL DID NOT BECOME DISCOURAGED!>>10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man and put his arms around him. Don't be alarmed, he said. He's alive! > He does the same thing like Elias! > Paul imitates other humens in the Bible whe raised people from death.
11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. > The faith of Paul is so amazing! He just continues with breaking bread, comunion, ... He believes, that Eutychus will be alive again. NO WORIES!
12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted. > Of corse. How encouraging is this!
>> What discourages me now?
>> What is disrtactive now?
>> What do i have on my heart now?
>> What would i share ?
>> >> I need to go and pray << <<
