Acts22,22 The crowd listened to Paul until he said this. Then they raised their voices and shouted, Rid the earth of him! He's not fit to live! > They listen till what exactly? Because he is sent by God to the Gentiles - They just could not believe, that God would care about Gentiles! God cares about everybody! Even about murderers and other horrible sinners(sins with horrible consequences)! God loves them - died for them: But it crosses my mind now, that Jesus sais about certain people,Mat18,6 But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
23 As they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air,  > They los control - they are so angry! I AM A ANRGY PERSON TOO. Disrespect makes me super angry. Why? Why am i so effected by the fact if people recognize me as i want to be recognized? Why can i not just be relaxed and be giving regardless how other behave around me! Am i connected to God or am i connected to people? I am depending completely to God. He lets me life every coming second. Not people. People do nothing to keep me living. They encourage or laugh or put me down or listen to me or think what ever. People always think something about me.
I can be free and just be giving because i know: GOD LOVES ME TOO - DIED EVEN FOR ME - IS LIVING ALSO IN ME RIGHT NOW!24 the commander ordered Paul to be taken into the barracks. > They think it is best for everybody to take away the cause of all that trouble. The world is darkness. No light is in the darkness. Darkness and light have nothing to do with each other. So - it is actually incredible to see how strong the light of Paul must have ben, because the darkness reacted so violent when Paul came! He was so bright shining! This is why we will be persecuted. Because all around us is darkness. The darkness will never come to the conclusion, that it should be arrested by it selfe... but the darkness realizes the cause of trouble. The cause is this unusual thing - light. It is minority. Normal is darkness. Light is unusual. So put away the light and keep statusQ. It feels again like peace. And we can see anything anymore. So what ever happens, happens in the darkness, where just a few realize it. And a quietness is all around.  He directed that he be flogged and questioned in order to find out why the people were shouting at him like this.  > Flogged first. I feel kind of: i want to be flogged too. Because Paul was flogged. Jesus was flogged. John was flogged. Peter was flogged. And many more. It is the knightly accolade for true disciples. They where strong lights. They were hated because of their faith and love for God and the people. They did not give up. They were different! They showed the world Love by God and this in to bright shining way for the darkness - so the darkness became violent. - I can't really tell it what i mean.
If my life would stand out so much, because of my love for God and the people, that the true nature of the world is finally coming out and starts beating me up - HOW AWESOME!
25 As they stretched him out to flog him, Paul said to the centurion standing there, Is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen who hasn't even been found guilty?  > But Paul also is cool and smart! Incredible how he is negotiating himself through the challenges. :-)
26 When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it. What are you going to do? he asked. This man is a Roman citizen.   > They get scared! They knew what authority meant...
27 The commander went to Paul and asked, Tell me, are you a Roman citizen? Yes, I am, he answered.   > Interesting: Everybody could say this! No paper to prove? Why did he believe, what Paul said?
28 Then the commander said, I had to pay a big price for my citizenship. But I was born a citizen, Paul replied.   > What a priviledg
29 Those who were about to question him withdrew immediately. The commander himself was alarmed when he realised that he had put Paul, a Roman citizen, in chains.  > They get so fearful. It is again the same. Even they had so much power, they were so under the pressure of authorities and powers all around them every where! Power from the mob - Roles for citizens of Rom. They could do what they wanted but they were permanently afraid of others. Never sure about doing the right thing. The only goal was to keep it quiet.
If someone would disturb the quietness, they would punish the disturber.... 
AM I THE SAME. DO I JUST WANT TO KEEP IT QUIET BUT NOT TRUTHFUL? IS QUIETNESS ALL I WANT? WHAT SHOULD BE THE GOAL?
WHEN IS IT GOOD TO SAY SOME DISTURBING TRUTH?
